  1. Although I may prefer her earlier books, NIGHT OF THE PARTY proved to be a “never-mind-the-dinner” page turner. It has all the best ingredients of a fast paced thriller with moments of wry humour and great tenderness. It addresses the eternal dilemma of doing what is easy or doing what is right and the repercussions of personal decisions on society at large. Yet it manages never to become preachy or heavy handed. ….. A fantastic read which I recommend wholeheartedly!
