Lockdown 2 is going to be hard for bricks-and-mortar bookshops, especially coming so close to Christmas. So I’m thrilled to be supporting #SignForOurBookshops – a national campaign to encourage readers to keep buying from their local high street or indie bookseller.
The campaign has been devised and organised by YA author Holly Bourne, and over 200 UK authors have signed up to take part – offering exclusive signed bookplates to bookshops and readers.
If you would like a signed Silence is Also a Lie bookplate from me, then this is what you need to do:
If you are a reader:
- Buy a copy of Silence is Also a Lie from a UK high street or indie bookshop during the November / December lockdown.
- Email your proof of purchase and your name and address to me at traceymathias@btinternet.com
- If you would like the bookplate dedicated to someone or to include a particular message, then that’s fine – but please be sure to include these details in your email!
- I will send the bookplates out in time for Christmas.
